Our Orthodontic Treatments

Invisalign No Braces

Invisalign has gained in popularity in recent years as a virtually invisible approach for straightening teeth without the requirement for fixed braces. Invisalign treatment is a series of clear, removable aligners tailored to your particular orthodontic requirements. The clear aligners work by slowly shifting the placement of teeth, working in the same way as fixed brackets and wires. Apart from offering the flexibility of being able to remove aligners, Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, meaning that you can undertake treatment without the concern of impacts to your work or social life.

Traditional braces

Traditional braces are the most common type of braces. Attached to the front of the teeth, they are comprised of two parts: a series of either metal or clear brackets attached to each tooth, and an arch wire that runs through slots in the brackets. When tensioned, the wires gradually shift the teeth into the correct position. Traditional braces are commonly prescribed for children and teens, however they can be used for orthodontic treatment at any age.

Clear Braces

Clear braces, also called ceramic or porcelain braces, are made from a ceramic material that is similar to the colour of teeth. Working in the same way as traditional braces, clear brackets are attached to each tooth, with a clear archwire running through slots in the bracket to guide teeth into new positions when tightened. Clear braces work just as well as traditional metal braces, but are more aesthetically pleasing because they are not as visible.
